The Rest of Argentina

Don't think that we only offer trips with a Welsh flavour! There's much more to Patagonia than history alone and the lively society there offers lots of opportunities whatever your interests. If you are looking for extreme adventure or days of leisurely wanderings, let us guide you with advice on when and where to visit, how long to stay, who you should get to know and how to get from one place to the other.

If you like the outdoor life then you will fall in love with the wide spaces of Patagonia with its mountains and lakes: there are 2.2. people per kilometre squared here compared with 246 per kilometre squared in Britain! If you want to explore these areas we can guide you in 4 x 4s or we can direct you to more traditional ways of seeing the countryside like getting on your feet or riding on horseback! For those who enjoy the adrenalin rush you can go white water rafting in the most famous rivers in the world or go on a boat trip to see a glacier in the west or to meet the whales face to face in the east. Do you enjoy fishing? Let us lead you along the crystal rivers, the sparkling streams to the turquoise lakes to enjoy some of the best fishing days in the world.

Although we love sharing our Patagonia experiences with you we've also travelled to other parts of Argentina and we can create the perfect package if you want to take in the other glories of the country. What about a visit to the imposing Iguazú Falls or the incredible beauty of the Perito Moreno glacier? Or how about the wonders of the beautiful Lake District around Bariloche? Or how would you like to go to the most southerly point of the continent, the closest place to Antarctica on Tierra del Fuego, the Land of Fire in Spanish? And remember that Brazil and the attractions of sun, sea and carnival are only a short hop by air.

According to the lonely Planet guidebooks, Argentina was chosen as the most popular tourist destination in the world - and we know why! Apart from the amazing variety of natural beauty, the country is stable politically and economically but still retains all the colour and vibrancy of a South American country. Its inhabitants are friendly and welcoming, its streets safe and its prices amongst the lowest in the world.
